Our Story Unfolded
Who We Are
At Pureweld, we're a proud family-run business based in Doncaster, led by father and son duo Peter and Craig. With roots in steel fabrication and a passion for craftsmanship, we’ve spent years producing high-quality metalwork for a wide range of clients—but our most meaningful work began with a personal challenge.
While experimenting with laser cutting and learning how to transform photos into line-art designs—mainly for logos—Craig was set a challenge by Peter: recreate an image of his grandparents and late brothers as a tribute. The result was so powerful and moving that we turned it into a bespoke memorial bench, made entirely from laser-cut steel.
Not long after, a visitor saw the bench and asked if we could create one in memory of his mother. That request sparked something special—and today, we create beautifully personal memorial benches that offer a lasting tribute far beyond a simple plaque.
Each piece we make is unique, heartfelt, and built to stand the test of time. It’s more than just metalwork—it’s a way to honour memories and tell stories through craft.

Process
From Concept to Creation
Our process is designed to be simple and supportive for our clients. We understand the importance of creating a meaningful and enduring memorial, guiding you through every step.
Initial Consultation
A no-obligation chat to discuss ideas, location, and the story you want to tell.
Collaborative Design: The client sends us their chosen photo(s) and ideas. Our designer then creates a digital mock-up for them to review.
Approval & Refinement
We work with the client to refine the design until they are 100% happy.
Crafting the Bench: Our engineers use the approved design to precisely laser-cut the steel and then manufacture the bench.
Delivery & Installation
We offer a nationwide service, delivering and professionally installing the bench at its final location.
